You would think that getting a new pc delivered at your door, you'd just plug the thing in and zooooooooooooom away on the internet highway?
Well, not so much.
My sweet n kind Deep bought be a new pc as an early birthday gift, when the old one I used just made a sigh and gave up it's life after a long and faithfull service.
So the joy was great when the new arrival made it home. Package was ripped open and rigged up, started on it's own too - and proceded to start to install win7. And what is this, a blue screen of death? message to restart? ok....
And another message to restart cause it had a unexpected restart? oooooookkkkkkk....
After about 10 of those Deep was pissed off, called the ppl we did the shoping from, and after a lot of blah blah, we was told we could get a new pc.... not this week even if the shop is like 10 minutes or so away, but... NEXT WEEK ON FRIDAY.
Yeah.. like that was going to happen - so Deep smacked in his private copy of win7 in the player after we managed to find the "open the tray" button on the "cleverly designed" case, and reinstalled everything, and what do you know, the pc was up and running. A few other glitches appeared, like it would not use the broadband connection but get online via wireless connection, and the graphics really REALLY R E A L L Y suck bigtime, and I will need a new graphiocs card. Will probably also invest in 2 gig of ram to put in to make it a little more stable and less jerky when I play my online games. Other than that... It's greeeeeeaaaat ;)
Ty for my great bday gift Deep :)
